How to Make Sugar Hearts
Ingredients:
• Heart shaped cookie cutter or mold
• Water
• Sugar
• Fork
• Measuring spoons
• Angled spatula
• Gel food paste color
Directions for Preparation:
1. First of all take a bowl and add water (3/4 tsp), sugar (half a cup) and some food color. Now mix them properly with the help of a fork till the whole mixtures becomes like a paste.
2. Take heart shaped mold and stuff sugar in it with the help of angled spatula and press the sugar so that it becomes flat. Leave the sugar in mold for one hour.
3. Now take a parchment paper and turn the sugar over on it and tap gently. The heart shaped sugar will fall on the paper. Allow the sugar hearts to stay on the parchment paper for few hours till they become hard enough.
4. Your sugar hearts are ready. You can store them in air tight container.
