How to have the best pirate themed party

A pirate party is a very unique theme that has rarely been used for children's birthday parties. In our opinion children can have loads of fun at a pirate themed birthday party if it is decorated in a fun way so that children would like it. Children usually love pirate themed stories as you might have noticed with popular stores such as peter pan etc. So we would say that going with a pirate themed birthday party would not be a bad idea and you should start planning the birthday by first considering the invitations. The invitations need to be fun and color full with a pirate theme to make children be attracted to them. Inside the cards you should mention the date, timing and place of the birthday event so that all of the guests you want to invite to your child's birthday can attend it with out any hassles. 

Now you need to start thinking about the decorations for the birthday party. Lets start with some basic decorations that every children's birthday party requires such as balloons. Instead of using regular balloons you can use link-o-loons. Since pirates usually wear black and red you should use these two colors in link-o-loons to create 3D figures using these balloons. These balloons are special because they have a long tail that allows you to tie them to each other. You can create a number of figures of your choice or even arches to make the party feel like an actual pirate party for the children. 

Instead of using a simple happy birthday banner at the birthday party you can use our special happy birthday link-o-loon balloons so that it does not clash with your pirate theme. These special happy birthday link-o-loon balloons have a letter on each balloon and once your tie them to each other in the correct order it will spell happy birthday. This will look quite unique from any other happy birthday banner you have ever used before. 

For some light you can buy a 9m rope light as it will look great on the edge of tables, walls and even railing at the venue. This light will not clash with your theme and it is very easy to work with as it is soft and flexible making it very easy to navigate corners and curves. They can be used indoors as well as outdoors. If you still feel that the decor is not enough and the venue feels very empty you can use a few black Chinese paper lanterns which will be able to make your theme more prominent and also give off some light if the party is held at night. The added bonus with these Chinese paper lanterns is that they are very cheap and come in packs of 10 and you can use as many as you want without having any damage on your limited budget. All you need to do is purchase a white single LED light and place it inside each lantern and watch it give off a beautiful dull glow for hours on end. 

Since pirate stories involve islands you can incorporate this factor in to your decorations. You can purchase a large inflatable palm tree drink cooler and it will not clash with your pirate themed birthday party at all and it will give you a great place to store all the cans of fizzy drink in so that the children at the party can help themselves. It is very easy to use as all you have to do is inflate it and add a few bags off ice and it can store up to 60 cans. 

To make your child the center of attention you can buy a blue light show dred. As you all ready know that pirates have long hair and sometimes have some accessories in them by giving your child this great product to wear you will be making him/her the coolest pirate at the party. This will make your child feel extra special o their special day and at the end of the day that is exactly what you set out to achieve when you planned this whole party.
