How To Make Easy Crayon Artwork
Looking for something colourful to hang in your home? Maybe you just need a way to keep the kids entertained during the school holidays? This art project is the perfect solution! It’s easy, unique and a great way to add some colour to any room in your home.
Materials:
Stretched canvas on frame (at most art supply or craft shops)
Crayons
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Hair dryer
Newspaper to catch the drips
Start by arranging your crayons on your canvas. Play around with the design until you find a layout you like, then fire up the hot glue gun.
Glue the crayons onto the canvas with the hot glue.
Stand the canvas up against a wall and place plenty of newspaper underneath to catch any drips that might fall onto your floor.
Use a hand-held hair dryer, heat the crayons until they begin to melt. You’ll know that they’re starting to melt when they get shiny. Let the wax drip down the canvas to create your one-of-a-kind crayon artwork!
